From all 50 states, to 6 out of the 7 continents in the world and over 40+ countries, basketball has privileged me with being able to see so much of the world. A world where had it not been for basketball I wouldn’t have even known existed. Some of my favorite places include visiting the coliseum in Rome, or visiting Jerusalem on Holy Week or even the beautiful place of the United Kingdom in Manchester, Aberdeen and many others. Other memories such as playing in front of armed forces in Afghanistan or in Kuwait were some of the most humbling experiences a basketball player can have. To say that I’ve been to all of these places solely playing basketball is something that I wish so many more players could see and understand just how far the game can take you. The world is full of amazing things and traveling playing the game of basketball has shown me that.
Where has the game of basketball taken you? Where are some of your favorite places to play? Where would you like to go and play?
I’m looking forward to traveling to Egypt I would like to see the pyramids and travel to Rome. When I grow up I would like to travel more often like you son
Traveling around the world and seeing different ways in which individuals live is truly humbling. From the differences in currency to the simple different tastes in foods, it’s an experience I would advise every individual to go on at least one trip around the world. And thanks for the support mom!!!!!
Love you!!!
