I’m putting in a phone call on the behalf of the university to see if you would be interested in attending our school…..
Do you remember when you got this call for the first time?
How did it make you feel?
For me personally, my first college phone call I received as a sophomore in high school brought about so many emotions. I was excited, shocked, scared, confused, but the most vivid emotion that ran through my body was determination. I was Driven to get more phone calls. I had watched so many movies that showed the recruiting process and how cool it was to be recruited by colleges to represent their school in basketball. In each individual’s basketball career, playing in college becomes a goal along the journey and it can be a very rewarding process.
